2001 Annual Meeting Info




The 2001 meeting, was held on February 4 at Wood Memorial Library, 783 Main Street, South Windsor, CT.

There were 3 speakers at this year's meeting:
> Nick Bellantoni gave a talk entitled, "Sacred Artifacts and Disturbed Contexts: A Rockshelter in Patchaug State Forest".

> There was a continouos 10-minutes PowerPoint presentation by Tyler Nolf, a Freshman at Westbrook High School, on "What it Means to Be an Archaeologist".

> Jean Klein, Education Director of Wood Memorial Library, conducted a guided tour of the Library's collections after the meeting, including 18th century furniture, archaeological artifacts, and mounted birds.
